Beef Price List

Pricing for our all natural grass-fed beef with no hormones or antibiotics

 

We are proud to offer you our beef in shares of a harvested cow/steer or as individual cuts on an as available basis.  To get additional information on individual cuts, please scroll down to the bottom of this page for a listing of cuts and their prices.  To order any cut of beef, just call us at 805 LOW-LINE and we will be happy to take your order over the phone and answer any questions.  You can pick up the meat at our central location in Santa Barbara near State Street and Hwy 154. 

We sell our shares of beef down to a minimum of a 1/4 of a harvested beef.  The cost of our beef is 20% off the retail prices shown below.  We tally up the cost of the quarter if we would sell it on an individual cut basis and then subtract 20% off that price.  All our beef is aged, cut,vacuum packed and frozen.  Our cuts of meat are mostly boneless with perhaps the exception of a bone in New York steak, the Rib Steak and an O'Bone roast.  Our center cut shank and Osso Bucco also have bones by design.  We dry age our beef for 2 weeks to achieve the best combination of flavor and tenderness.  As mentioned above, we do offer individual cuts on an as available basis for you to sample our beef before committing to a large order. 

The following are some nominal values at various stages of harvest and what you can expect if you buy a full or a portion of a steer.   

Typical live weight of our cow/steer:  1300 lbs

Typical hanging weight for same: 650-700 lbs

Typical finished wrapped and cut weight: 350-400 lbs 

The following table illustrates approximately what you can expect in terms of individual cuts if you buy a whole steer, a half or a quarter (shown in lbs).  This is based on the harvest of the last few steers.
