We just completed putting in an irrigated pasture for the cows.  As you can see, they are delighted to browse the fresh greens from the spring growth.

Here is our latest addition on the ranch.  She is JN906 and is already spoken for.  She will be going to her new home next year.  She is so cute, cuddly and friendly you just can't help wanting to hug her.

Friends Darcy, Scott and Lisa came to visit to see the new babies.  Pagie, our grandaughter is right up front face to face with the new calf.

One of the joys of spring in California is the rain.  Here we see Bill King, famous Santa Barbara cowboy extraordinaire, having taken a huge risk going down a dead end road, having turned around in the mud and still not gotten stuck but alas, he did not quite make it back to our cattle pens to pick up his cow load for the sale yard without slipping off the road.  Note the sheepish grin on his face.  We got big Bertha, a 7010 AC Tractor, and got him out.
